Jetzt läuft es wieder. Also hatte es gar nichts mit dem Java Update zu tun. Dann muss ich den Titel ändern...

Beende OOo inklusiv Schnellstarter, benenne das OOo-Benutzerverzeichnis um und starte OOo neu.

Doch, die SDK brauche ich hin und wieder.
Mein Verdacht, dass es daran lag, kommt daher, weil ich letzte Woche erhebliche Kämpfe mit meinem Rechner hatte, um alte JREs zu deinstallieren, es gab da immer einen "schwerwiegenden Fehler" und die Deinstallation brach ab.
Letztlich hab ich dann mit so einem RegCleaner alle JREs und die SDK deinstalliert und nur die 1.6.u25 SDK und JRE nach einigen Anläufen wieder installiert. Ob die SDK aber dann funktioniert hatte, weiß ich nicht, das hatte ich noch nicht getestet. Die JRE geht jedenfalls, also ein Javaprogramm (RouteConverter) läuft.

Gibt es denn irgendwo ein aussagekräftiges Fehlerlog von OO, wenn das so abschmiert?

Ich glaube nicht, dass es mit der Dokumentenherstellung zu tun hat.
Natürlich habe ich die abgebrochen. Ein nagelneues Dokument muss ich nicht wieder herstellen.

Ich kann kurzum OpenOffice nicht mehr benutzen, weil es nach knapp einer halben Minute mit jedwedem Dokument oder auch ohne Dokument abstürzt.

Ich habe die JDK im Verdacht, weil das das einzige ist, was mir einfällt.
Soll ich mal die JDK und JRE komplett deinstallieren und OO noch mal neu installieren, oder was soll ich tun?

Hallo,

ich glaube seit dem Java Update (JDK) auf 1.6u25 funktioniert mein OpenOffice nicht mehr.
Wenn ich z.B. den writer aber auch calc mit einem Standarddokument starte (also nicht einmal eines von mir), und ca. 30 Sekunden warte, erhalte ich einen kapitalen Fehler:

Mittlerweile sehe ich den Fehler nicht mehr, sondern es geht direkt die automatische Dokumentenherstellung los und ich drehe mich im Kreis.
Neu Installation von OO hat nichts gebracht, sowie den Rechner neustarten.
Die JRE habe ich in den Optionen auch schon abgewählt, ohne Erfolg.
Habe ich da was übersehen?

Ich habe Windows XP SP3 mit OO 3.3
Vormals ging alles und sonst läuft der Rechner auch.
